Christmas in Lymington doesn’t just begin—it bursts into life with hundreds of Santas running, jogging, strolling, and even scootering through the town centre. The beloved Oakhaven Santa Dash is back on Sunday 7th December 2025, bringing festive fun, community spirit, and a sea of red suits to the High Street.

This cherished 3km event has become the town’s “official launch” of Christmas, drawing families, friends, teams, and enthusiastic dogs dressed in their merriest outfits. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply enjoying a jolly wander, the Santa Dash is designed for everyone.

🎄 A Festive Fun Run for All

The Dash will start and finish on Lymington High Street, right outside John D Wood & Co Sales and Letting Agents, the event’s headline sponsor.

This is a fun run in every sense. You’ll see:

While the event is full of joy and festive silliness, it has a powerful purpose. The Santa Dash raises essential funds for Oakhaven Hospice, whose running costs now exceed £24,500 every day. With only 11% of funding coming from the NHS, the Hospice relies heavily on community support to continue providing exceptional end-of-life care across the New Forest, Totton, and Waterside areas.

Even £10 in sponsorship per participant can make a meaningful impact. Every pound helps Oakhaven deliver comfort, dignity, and compassionate support to patients and their families when they need it most.
