A Rich History of Community and Celebration
Initially a small community event, The Sway Festival has expanded into a major celebration that attracts both locals and tourists. Each year, the festival raises substantial funds for local charities and organizations, with donations growing from £600 in 2002 to over £4,300 in recent years. This growth is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the festival committee and the enthusiastic participation of the village community.
The festival offers entertainment but also strengthens the bonds within the community, making Sway a vibrant and welcoming place to live and visit. Whether you are a long-time resident or a visitor, the Sway Festival provides a unique opportunity to experience the best of this charming village.
